Chocolate Chickpea Cookiedough

I have seen so many recipes on healthy cookiedough lately, and thought I would give it a go and make some myself. Oh what a great idea! It turned out so delicious and chocolatey! Because I mean who doesn’t like chocolate?


This is a super decadent and proteinpacked dessert (also quite healthy) so give it a go! It would work great as a post workout snack, when you are feeling peckish in the evening or even as breakfast. I won’t lie. I definitely made this for breakfast. Haha




Serves 2

  • 1 can chickpeas (240g)
  • 1 tbs peanutbutter
  • 1 tbs maple syrup
  • 1 tbs cacao powder
  • 2 tbs plantbased milk ( I used vanilla soy)
  • 2-3 tbs coconutsugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • A few tbs chocolate chips ( I used Raw chooclate mulberries)


  • drain chickpeas and transfer them to a blender with the remaining ingredients except chocolate chips
  • blend until the desired consistensy is reached
  • add in the chocolate chips and pulse to incorporate
  • transfer to two glasses and enjoy
