New updated version of my popular cornfritters đ This version is full of deliciousness and 100% failproof. The cornfritters are amazing paired with a crunchy fresh saladđ„ Perfect for the warmer summer weather âïž Give them a try!đ±
CORN FRITTERS:Â English version
Makes 10
- 280g sweet corn
- 30g cornmeal (do not use corn starch)
- 50g white flour or if gluten-free use oat flour**
- 15g spring onion (chopped)
- 2 tbs paprika powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 0,5 dl water
- Salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well
- Add large spoonfuls to a pan on medium-high heat with a little oil, shape round, and fry for around 4-5 minutes on each side
- Make sure the pan and oil are hot. The oil should sizzle when you add the corn mixture to the pan. Also be careful when flipping the fritters. They are delicate.
CORN FRITTERS: Dansk version
Laver 10
- 280g majs
- 30g majsmel (brug ikke majsstivelse)
- 50g hvedemel eller havremel*
- 15g forÄrslÞg (hakket)
- 2 spsk paprika
- 1 tsk hvidlĂžgspulver
- 1 tsk lĂžgpulver
- 1 tsk chillipulver
- 1 tsk citronsaft
- 1/2 tsk bagepulver
- 0,5 dl vand
- Salt & pepper
- Olie til stegning (Jeg brugte oliven)
DIRECTIONS:
- TilfÞj ingredienserne til en skÄl og rÞr godt.
- Kom store spiseskefulde af massen pÄ en varm pande med lidt olie, steg 4-5 minutter pÄ hver side.
- SĂžrg for at panden og olien er varm. Olien skal “sprutte” nĂ„r massen lĂŠgges pĂ„ panden. VĂŠr forsigtig nĂ„r du flipper fritterne. De er delikate.
*For at lave havremel, blendes havregryn til mel
