Rice Crispy Treats

If you love easy and delicious snacks, then these rice crispy treats are for you!👏🏼 They only require four ingredients, two bowls and a microwave! These treats are perfectly gooey and sweet with a hint of peanut butter 😍 Such an awesome combo! Perfect for whenever you crave something sweet😋 and can be enjoyed by both children and adults. They can be stored in the fridge for a few days but I’m sure they won’t last that long 😉 Not in my house anyway😂

RICE CRISPY TREATS: English

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 bag (75g) marshmallows
  • 3 tbs peanut butter
  • 30g rice crispies
  • 30g pretzel sticks (broken into smaller pieces)
  • 2 squares dark chocolate (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Combine rice crispies and pretzel sticks in a bowl and set aside.
  • Add marshmallows and peanut butter to another bowl.
  • Microwave one minute, checking every 20 seconds, to prevent overflow.
  • Scoop the marshmallow mixture into the bowl with rice crispies and pretzel sticks.
  • Mix together with a spoon.
  • Be careful, the mixture is very hot.
  • Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Press the mixture down and smooth out.
  • Let it cool in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle over.
  • Let the chocolate harden, before cutting into 6 rice crispy treats.

RICE CRISPY TREATS: Dansk

INGREDIENSER:

  • 1 pose (75g) skumfiduser
  • 3 spsk peanutbutter
  • 30g rice crispies
  • 30g saltstænger/kringler (halv-knuste)
  • 2 brikker mørk chokolade (valgfrit)

FREMGANGSMÅDE:

  • Kom rice crispies og saltstænger/kringler i en stor skål.
  • Stil skålen til side og kom skumfiduserne og peanutbutter i en anden skål.
  • Kom skålen med skumfiduserne og peanutbutter i mikroovnen i ét minut.
  • Check skålen hvert 20. sekund, så massen ikke flyder over.
  • Kom nu den flydende masse i skålen med rice crispies og saltstænger/kringler.
  • Rør godt rundt med en ske. (pas på, massen er ret varm)
  • Kom massen i en form beklædt med madpakkepapir eller bagepapir.
  • Stil formen i køleskabet i ca 30 minutter.
  • Smelt lidt mørk chokolade og drys det ud over massen.
  • Vent til chokoladen er størknet før der skæres ca. 6 rice crispy treats.
